PROGRAMMES AND PERFORMANCE
Employment equity (EE)
South African workforce diversity1
Workforce transformation in
South Africa and localisation in
Mozambique remains a strategic
priority, embedded in leadership
accountability and reinforced
through Sasol’s FY26 Employment
Equity Plan. This continues to be
a critical lever in strengthening
the representation of African and
Coloured men and women, as well as
PwD, across all occupational levels.
as at 30 June 20262
Sasol’s 5-Year Employment Equity
Plan is designed not only to address
representation gaps, but to strengthen
the depth, diversity and quality of the
leadership and technical talent pipeline
required for long-term organisational
sustainability. In doing so, it reinforces
succession readiness and supports
the development of a more resilient
and future-fit workforce.

Strengthening Employment Equity
governance capability remains a key
enabler of effective execution. The
upskilling of Employment Equity and Skills
Development Forum members, together
with enhanced compliance capability
across business units, have improved
oversight, strengthened accountability,
and enabled more consistent delivery
against transformation commitments.
This has also contributed to reducing
execution risk and improving
alignment between business planning
and transformation outcomes.
