Succession
Sasol continues to strengthen its GEC succession pipeline
to support leadership continuity and delivery of its strategy.
Succession planning is integrated into the Group’s broader
talent management framework, with regular assessment
of bench strength across executive and senior leadership
levels. During the year, succession readiness improved
through targeted development actions, leadership rotations
and structured transition planning, contributing to effective
onboarding and integration of new GEC members and stability
across key portfolios. While progress has been achieved,
specific roles remain exposed to limited immediate successor
depth and mobility constraints. These risks are actively

addressed through focused capability building and succession
interventions.
The Group continues to prioritise the development of a diverse,
globally competitive leadership pipeline to ensure the GEC
remains well positioned to sustain performance and drive
long-term value creation.
