Year in Review: Mozambique
Mozambique
Mozambique has been at the heart of the
company’s oil and gas strategy ever since
Sasol pioneered the monetisation of the
Pande and Temane gas fields, which had been
stranded for over 30 years. The head office of
Sasol Mozambique is located in Maputo.
Mozambique is located in Southeast Africa and
bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east. The capital
and largest city is Maputo (formerly known as Lorenco
Marques from 1876 to 1976).
